Only in Math Class does 1 + 1 only equal 2Creativity Challenge 1999 #19Last week in Istanbul I discovered that 1 and 1 can equal 776,000. That is if you are talking about $1 US and $1 US equaling 776,000 Turkish Lyre (spelling?) For years I have used other examples of how 1 and 1 can equal many things to help provoke people to think beyond the traditional or minimal thinking or absolute answers to any question. 1 + 1 = 0 I believe this is true in the base 2 or binary system 1 + 1 = 3 in family planning 1 + 1 =11 can be true visually 1 apple and 1 orange can equal the beginning of a fruit salad. 1 brick and 1 brick can equal the building of a palace, mosque or cathedral. Your challenge this week is to see how many more valid, probably, plausible answers to one plus one you can discover or create. Please share them back to the list or me directly and we'll how many we can create or collect. email alan@cre8ng.com Have a very creative week. Challenge yourself to think creatively every day.
