Dust Off Your Left Cerebral

Cre8ng™ Challenge 2000 - 16

Let's be convergent and analytical this week in our creative thinking development.

To truly be creative we need to be highly observant as well as analytical. This challenge should help you practice these skills.

Ask someone to put together for you a collection of 12 small to medium size things, that are easily held in one hand in a grocery bag or box (paper or cardboard or other that you cannot see into easily). These are not to be objects you normally use.

Then each day either in a dark room or blindfolded reach in and take out one object and investigate it with all your senses except sight.

Examine it and describe in in as precise detail as you can.

Then put the object away. Take off your blindfold or turn on the lights and write down every detail you can remember.

Finally take out the object again and compare it with your description.

Have fun, Examine the world in detail such as you never have before.
