Alan's Creativity Challenges 2003-16
1,000 or More Words from Each ImageOften the quote in English is heard in many countries: "A picture is worth a 1,000 words". Let's practice with that this week. Select a collection of written material and convert it into images, cartoons, doodles, symbols, drawings. MONDAY Pick up a newspaper and read an article. Recreate it into only images. TUESDAY Listen in on a conversation near you and sketch in images of any kind, what is being said. WEDNESDAY Take notes in a meeting or a class today using only images for at least 15 minutes. THURSDAY Read a favorite fiction book and recreate it in images only of any kind. FRIDAY Record what you did the day before in images only. The goal is to practice your abilities to communicate through images and to be creative visually. If you are visually challenged use your 3rd eye to experience images of various types for each of the assignments. Please send examples of your results. I'll collect them and share them all later with your approval. Have a fun week by tremendously support of the creativity that surrounds you.
