Technique

a. Pick a trait/characteristic/aspect of the problem/challenge

b. Make a list of nouns. In this case I will supply them. You can randomly pick words from a dictionary or ask each person in your problem solving group for one or two each.

c. free associate words that are sparked by the individual nouns

d. relate final associated words to look for insights into the problem

Problem/Challenge

It has been raining and overcast in your town for two weeks. You notice morale and energy levels have dropped considerably. Your goal is regain the spark that bright, beautiful summer days bring.

Words

Now associate freely 3 to 6 words each for these 6

Then relate the results back to the problem / challenge of moral building on rainy and overcast days.

Have fun and a great week no matter what the weather is like where you are in the world.
