Sensing

Creativity Challenge 43

Often trainers report research that claims that we learn most what we SEE not what we HEAR, TOUCH, SMELL, TASTE.

So let's put that sense to work this week./

Choose a new or different space, inside or out or both. Real or imaginery. Take a pad or a stack of index cards or Post-It notes plus a pen or two.

Now record everything you SEE...objects, animals, plants, insects, natural occurances. Jot down brief descriptions or simply the common names. One per piece of paper or index card.

Do this for 5 to 15 minutes while you walk.

If you jog or run each day or it is your day to do so slow down to a walk so that you can write while you walk for 5 to 15 min. or for a couple minutes 3 or 4 times during your run/jog.

Once you have completed your "walk" and return home place the notes or cards in an envelope or box and leave them there until later.

An hour or two or even a day later set aside 15 to 30 minutes to use this idea sparkers.

Start by writing down one of your challenges.

i.e.:

How to double my usual income during the next 6 months and beyond?

Now randomly pull out 6 to 12 pieces of paper or cards and review them one by one and ask yourself what is it about this object, animal, etc. that gives me a clue about what I might do to accomplish my challenge.

Do this for about 15 to 20 minutes.

Please write to the list(s) a sample of your result.

Have a fantastic week. May you enjoy your creativeness greatly.
