Two-derful, Three-derful and Four-derful

Creativity Challenge 1998 #38

Let's stretch our creative imaginations and have fun this week.

One of the key factors about creativity is humor. Every book on creative thinking skills and the traits of creative people and the many years of work of the Humor Project under the direction of its founder, Joel Goodman, has stressed the importance of humor and senses of humor to creativity and creative thinking.

This week take time to have fun with words and practice using your imagination.

Victor Borge for many games has played a game with language by substituting the word "two" for the word "one" everywhere it appears in a sentence or as a part of any other word.

Abe Lincoln used to love to reverse the first letters or prefixes of words to create words or he would deliberately speak sentences backwards.

Playing with cliches can also be fun.

So this week try each one of these mental games and have fun "sparking" and "stretching" your imagination muscles.
