Ambiguity is a Blessing

Cre8ng™ Challenge 2000 - 26

One trait of highly creative people that has been written about by many psychologists and creative thinking authors is their tendency to be TOLERANT OF AMBIGUITY.

Let's practice being Tolerant of Ambiguity as this week's Cre8ng Challenge.

In order to do that let's look at Noah Webster's
life's work first. . .

tolerate v.t.
to allow without hindrance
to endure without repugnance
to resist the action of

If something is tolerable, it is. . .

fairly good
bearable
endurable
passable

If we have tolerance, we. . .

have a liberal spirit toward opinions and practices that differ from our own
exercise the power to endure or resist discomfort, hardship

Personally I dislike the concept of tolerance. I prefer terms such as...

support
enjoy
celebrate
grow from
become enriched by
AMBIGUITY or AMBIGUOUS
having several POSSIBLE meanings

So this week increase and deepen your creative thinking skills through ambiguities around you or those you can find each day.

Have a richly creative week. It is your choice.
