Let's Make More and Learn Faster

If We Learn From Our Mistakes Let's Make More and Learn Faster

Creativity Challenge 2000 #34

Each year for the past 4 years at the end of the year when it is time to gather up the year's Creativity Challenges I discover that some are missing or have been filed in some creative place I cannot recall.

This year #34 was never created. Ooops! An error. A mistake. A flub. A slip on the ice.

Let's have fun with my AIR OR.

Let's brainstorm a list of phrases that we use in our different languages when we make mistakes or when we refer to someone who makes mistakes, such as me.

  1. his elevator doesn't go all the way to the top
  2. he has a few loose screws
  3. he is missing a few screws
  4. Ooops!
  5. I made a mistake
  6. Eee gads what a dummy
  7. I flubbed up
  8. dropped the ball
  9. missed the pass
  10. slipped up
  11. crashed and burned
  12. hit the wall

That's my dozen.

This Challenge is not limited to English only. When you send your's in your native language please provide English translations.

Have fun with these. We will use them later to generate creative sparks.
