Let Your Kid Have Fun

Creativity Challenge 1998 #20

Yes we can be more creative by forcing relationships or S.C.A.M.P.E.R.ing as Bob Eberle taught us and Michael Michalko has written so well. We can change our "thinking hats or shoes". We can Whack Ourselves on the Side of the Head. We can just simply get "out of the box".

Well this week stop being so conservative and save.

Let loose. Lighten up at warp speed. Let your "kid" have fun. 1. wear a clown nose all day
2. dress up like a clown for a day
3. wear a colored wig
4. wear a funny t-shirt
5. dress as your favorite cartoon character (Dilbert doesn't count...too many people already do)
6. go to an amusement park in the middle of a work day
7. rent a day's worth of "3 Stooges" movies
8. pass out water guns at a meeting
9. wear funny masks or noses during an entire meeting
10. plan an eat only fun meals (have a bowl of M&Ms and milk as your cereal)
11. taste all 31 flavors at your Baskin-Robins
12. dress weird...two different shoes, deliberately badly matched clothes, extremely bright clashing colors.

Have fun this week.
Do some of these.
Create some of your own (12 preferred) fun things to do.
Share your list and what you choose to do and the results with the rest of us.

Deliberately add fun to your life this week and watch your creativity grow.
