Thank You Lenny of Vinci

Cre8ng™ Challenge 1999 - 33

On my living room wall is a framed poster Merry and I bought the summer I taught in an art program for UGA in Cortona, Italy. The poster celebrates the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci's birth. This week my cyberspace friend and internet list co-owner, Charles Cave started another interesting internet list focused on Micheal Gelb's excellent book about How to Think Like Leonardo da Vinci.

This week's Challenge relates to the first way Lenny thought that helped to strengthen his mental skills: He constantly asked questions.

This week set aside 15 to 20 minutes to focus on a particular challenge of yours, a different one per day. During the time think of and write down as many questions as you can about the day's challenge you chose.

For me my focus is on the S.P.R.E.A.D.ng of Creative Thinking Throughout Workplaces.
Some of my questions might be...
S - Supporting
How do managers support creativity in the retail industry?
How do supervisors support creativity in the poultry processing industry?
Why don't supervisors and managers support creativity in the typical fast-food restaurant?

Strive to write a mixture of very detailed to very general or global questions.

Then during the day see if simply taking time out to ask questions helps you examine your individual challenges from more or different or perhaps unique perspectives.

Have a great creative week.

Alan
