And Then, And Then, And Then...

Creativity Challenge 2001 #41

Listening to children create stories using their imagination is always a creative sparker. This week imagine like a child.

Go through some old magazines, books or newspapers and paper a minimum of 25 cartoon strips or possibly single panel cartoons. It generally works better with cartoon strips. First cut the strips into separate panels. Second randomly choose 5 individual panels and put them into a folder, envelope or pile. Due this 5 times, once per day: M, T, W, TH, F.

MONDAY - Choose a folder, envelope, or pile and then put them in any order and begin to write a story that the series of panels may represent. Make up situations, character names using the details drawn originally by the cartoonist.

TUESDAY - Choose a folder, envelope, or pile and then put them in any order and begin to write a story that the series of panels may represent. Make up situations, character names using the details drawn originally by the cartoonist.

WEDNESDAY - Choose a folder, envelope, or pile and then put them in any order and begin to write a story that the series of panels may represent. Make up situations, character names using the details drawn originally by the cartoonist.

THURSDAY - Choose a folder, envelope, or pile and then put them in any order and begin to write a story that the series of panels may represent. Make up situations, character names using the details drawn originally by the cartoonist.

FRIDAY - Choose a folder, envelope, or pile and then put them in any order and begin to write a story that the series of panels may represent. Make up situations, character names using the details drawn originally by the cartoonist.

Have fun creating stories from what you have created randomly. Let the pictures added to your imagination tell the five stories this week.

I hope you are enjoying the changing season in your part of the world. If you live in a portion of the world where seasons do not change I hope you are enjoying details about your environment that you haven't recently: flora, fauna, terrain, skies, clouds.
